MSC strengthens Eastern Cape Express Service

MSC has announced the launch of its enhanced Eastern Cape Express Service, aiming to provide faster and more efficient transit times from Eastern Cape to Europe and the Mediterranean.

Effective immediately, the service rotation will change as follows:

Walvis Bay (Namibia) – Gqeberha (South Africa) – Sines (Portugal) – London Gateway (UK) – Rotterdam (Netherlands) – Antwerp (Belgium) – Le Havre (France) – Sines – Casablanca (Morocco) – Las Palmas (Spain)

MSC, the world’s largest ocean carrier, which has decided to proceed with a standalone service network, said the enhancement will particularly benefit the region’s fresh fruit exporters by providing faster transit times and greater reliability to meet market demand.
