ClassNK has published Version 3.0 of its Alternative Fuels Insight report, offering updated analysis and cost simulations aligned with the International Maritime Organization’s mid-term greenhouse gas reduction measures adopted during the 83rd session of the Marine Environment Protection Committee in April 2025.
The report provides a comprehensive overview of the characteristics and latest trends in alternative marine fuels, including insights on fuel availability, cost projections, and strategic considerations for future fuel selection.
Version 3.0 includes updated simulations that evaluate fuel conversion scenarios and offer comparative analyses of total costs across various fuel types, helping industry stakeholders make informed decisions in the context of evolving regulatory requirements.
