Piraeus port announces resumption of operations at floating dock “Piraeus II” in Perama ship repair zone

The Piraeus Port Authority has officially resumed full operations at the Floating Dock “Piraeus II” in the Perama ship repair zone, following the successful completion of extensive maintenance and repair works.
These works were carried out as part of a scheduled special survey, culminating in the issuance of a new five-year operational certificate by the relevant Classification Society.
Marking the dock’s return to service, the first dry-docking operation was successfully completed with the passenger/vehicle vessel “POSEIDON”, reaffirming the dock’s readiness and reinforcing its role within the ship repair industry.
The reactivation of “Piraeus II,” carried out in full alignment with international safety and operational standards, represents a strategic milestone for revitalizing ship repair activities in Perama.
It also strengthens the zone’s operational capacity and its engagement with the domestic market.
