CMA CGM applies new surcharge from Far East to West Africa

French ocean carrier CMA CGM has announced a peak season surcharge (PSS) for shipments from Northeast Asia, Southeast Asia, China and Hong Kong & Macau to West Africa Central Range (Nigeria, Côte d’Ivoire, Benin, Ghana, Togo and Equatorial Guinea) and South Range (Angola, Congo, DRC, Namibia, Gabon and Cameroon).

The surcharge of US$1,200 per TEU will be effective from 15 June and will apply to dry cargo only.
