ShibataFenderTeam Group inaugurates manufacturing facility in Valencia

ShibataFenderTeam Group has officially opened its fourth global manufacturing facility, located in Valencia, Spain, expanding its production capabilities to better serve the growing demand across Spain, the Mediterranean, and the wider EMEA region.

With a total investment of around US$8 million, the new plant will double production capacity for foam fenders and steel structures, enhancing delivery performance and customer responsiveness across key markets.

Dominique Polte, Board Member of ShibataFenderTeam, noted that they have invested in cutting-edge technology and people, ensuring the highest standards of quality and innovation.

For better operational excellence, the Spanish team received extensive training at ShibataFenderTeam’s facility in Rechlin, Germany.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by prominent local and regional officials. The event featured a ribbon-cutting ceremony and a guided tour of the facility.
