Maersk adjusts UCLA service

Maersk has announced a strategic adjustment to its UCLA service that will see the return of southbound import operations to Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP) in Santos, Brazil, starting mid-July.
Effective July 13, Maersk will shift the UCLA service’s southbound import operations from DP World Santos back to Brasil Terminal Portuário (BTP), aiming to boost efficiency and strengthen regional connectivity.
The first vessel under the updated rotation will be the MSC Petra, voyage 524S, scheduled to call at BTP on July 13, 2025
The change marks a return to familiar territory for the UCLA service, reinforcing Maersk’s long-term strategy of optimizing port calls for better operational performance.
