Electric feedership to train crew

A Hong Kong based shipowner has jointly ordered a 460 teu container feedership which will have space for around 50 cadets training for a life at sea, including a lecture theatre and library.

Seacon with its partner the Shanghai Maritime University orders the all-electric vessel will be built at Fujian Mawei Shipbuilding, Fuzhou, some 500km south of Shanghai.
