Hai An Lines launches new services to China and Cambodia

Vietnamese carrier Hai An Lines has expanded its regional shipping network with the recent launch of two new intra-Asia services connecting Vietnam with China and Cambodia, marking a strategic move to strengthen trade flows across the Greater Mekong Subregion.

The first of the new services, linking to Phnom Penh Port, began operations in late June. The rotation includes Nansha, Lianyungang, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City, and Phnom Penh—offering a direct link to support growing trade between southern China, Vietnam, and Cambodia.

In early July, Hai An followed up with the introduction of its ECX service, enhancing connections to Lianyungang Port on China’s eastern seaboard. The ECX loop runs Ho Chi Minh City – Da Nang – Hai Phong – Lianyungang – Hai Phong – Da Nang – Ho Chi Minh City, further integrating northern and central Vietnam into regional supply chains.

With the addition of these two services, Hai An Lines now operates six intra-Asia container routes, providing reliable access to key markets including China, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, India, and Cambodia. The expansion reflects the company’s continued investment in trade connectivity across Asia and its role in supporting regional logistics amid shifting import-export demands.
