Hanseatic Global Terminals launches Latin America Division

Hanseatic Global Terminals has officially launched its Latin American division, marking the company’s first regional expansion since its founding in 2024.
The new unit, Hanseatic Global Terminals Latin America S.A., opened on August 1, 2025. Its headquarters in Santiago, Chile, will serve as a hub for operations across both North and South America.
Moreover, this expansion strengthens Hanseatic Global Terminals’ presence in the global terminal market. The move aligns with its long-term Strategy 2030, which aims to grow its terminal portfolio from 21 to around 30 facilities worldwide.
The launch also includes two new business units under the Inland Services division:
-
Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Logistics S.A.
-
Hanseatic Global Terminals Chile Extraportuarios S.A.
These entities will offer a range of port and logistics services to support foreign trade across the region.
“This is a big step forward in our Strategy 2030,” said Dheeraj Bhatia, CEO of Hanseatic Global Terminals. “We’re building a global network to better serve our customers.”
Mauricio Carrasco, CEO of the Latin America division, added, “We’re now part of a strong, global system of terminals. That gives us new tools to offer top-tier service throughout the Americas.”
The launch underlines Hanseatic’s ambition to become a key global player in terminal operations. The new Latin American branch is set to play a major role in that journey.
