King Ocean Service announces charge increase for Guatemala terminal

King Ocean Services announced that the Guatemala Terminal Charge for all northbound and southbound cargo originating or transiting through Santo Tomas, Guatemala will be adjusted.

This charge will also apply to cargo in transit to/from El Salvador via Guatemala Ports and it will be effective from August 31, 2025.

The updated charges are as follows: For 20’ Dry or Special Equipment, the charge will increase from $250.00 to US$285.00, for 40’ Dry or Special Equipment, the charge will rise from US$250.00 to US$285.00, for 45’ Dry Containers, the charge will go from US$250.00 to US$285.00 and for 40’ Reefer Containers, the charge will be adjusted from US$250.00 to US$285.00.

These adjustments will apply to all open tariff and service contract rates.
