CMA CGM announces peak season surcharge from Europe

In a continued effort to provide customers with reliable and efficient services, CMA CGM has announced the implementation of a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) effective from November 15, 2025 (loading date) and valid until further notice.

The surcharge applies to all cargo shipped from North Europe, the Mediterranean (excluding Spain), the Middle East, the Red Sea, and the Indian Subcontinent (including Sri Lanka) to Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire.

The applicable amounts are set at USD 300 / EUR 300 / GBP 250 per container, to be settled with the freight.

This measure aims to ensure service reliability and operational efficiency amid increased seasonal demand across these trade routes.
