CMA CGM updates SWX2 service

CMA CGM has revised its 2x 900 TEU Sweden Express (SWX2) service, making a key change to its Northern Europe itinerary, according to DynaLiners. The carrier has removed Gdansk, Poland from the rotation and replaced it with Rauma, Finland, reflecting a strategic adjustment to better serve trade flows in the Baltic region.

The updated SWX2 route now operates as follows: Hamburg → Bremerhaven → Klaipeda → Rauma → Norrkoping → Gavle → Hamburg. This change is expected to enhance connectivity for Finnish exporters and importers while maintaining efficient port calls in Germany, Lithuania, and Sweden.

CMA CGM continues to optimize its services across Northern Europe to meet evolving customer demand and improve operational efficiency. The updated itinerary also aims to streamline transit times and strengthen the carrier’s presence in key Baltic and Nordic markets.
