Waberer’s posts strong Q3 results
Waberer’s Group reported revenue of €205.4 million in the third quarter, up 8% year-on-year. EBIT rose 23% in the quarter and more than 41% over the first nine months. Consolidated net income for Q3 reached €11.2 million. The Group expects full-year 2025 EBIT to exceed €50 million.
The company continues to advance its strategic goals. Revenue for the first nine months totaled nearly €603 million, a 5% increase compared to last year. Profitability strengthened, with nine-month EBIT reaching €41.5 million, up 41.3%. Net income surged 158.8% year-on-year to €32.1 million.
CEO Zsolt Barna highlighted new growth initiatives. Waberer’s opened a 20,000 m² warehouse in Slovakia to serve automotive clients. A 22,000 m² logistics center in Debrecen is in an advanced stage. The company also partnered with Budapest Airport and KTZ Express to develop air cargo and intermodal rail terminals, boosting European reach.
In Q3, contract logistics revenue grew 9.5% to €69.5 million. Hungary-based international transport rose 9.2%. Logistics segment EBIT increased 53% to €5.5 million.
The Insurance segment achieved €40 million in Q3 revenue, nearly double last year. Nine-month revenue rose 91% to €117.5 million, with EBIT up 75.3% to €27.5 million. Life insurance contributed 17%, non-life 83%.
Barna said the results confirm the Group is on track to meet its 2025 targets while advancing long-term growth initiatives.
