Mitsui E&S posts strong half-year results
Mitsui E&S reported new orders of ¥170.7 billion in the first half of the fiscal year, up from ¥146.0 billion a year earlier. Net sales rose to ¥165.5 billion, compared with ¥145.0 billion previously. Operating income jumped to ¥19.8 billion, more than double last year’s ¥9.2 billion. Profit attributable to owners stood at ¥17.5 billion, lower than last year due to a one-time gain in the prior period.
The company revised its full-year forecast for the year ending March 31, 2026. Targets now include new orders of ¥300.0 billion, net sales of ¥340.0 billion, and operating income of ¥30.0 billion.
MES said the upward revision reflects stronger conditions in its core business and a solid backlog. The company remains on track to deliver growth and strengthen its operational performance.
