CMA CGM to implement RRI from Türkiye to US East Coast
CMA CGM has announced a Rate Restoration Initiative (RRI) that will take effect on January 1, 2026, applying to all tariff and service contract cargo moving from Türkiye to the U.S. East Coast and all inland destinations served via East Coast ports.
The RRI will apply to all cargo except out-of-gauge (OOG) and will be implemented at the following levels:

USD 500 per 20′ container

USD 1,000 per 40′ / 40’HC / 45′ container
CMA CGM stated that the adjustment is intended to restore rates to sustainable levels across the Türkiye–US East Coast trade and will remain in effect for all shipments under the scope of this tariff.
