GXO appoints Bart Beeks as Chief Operating Officer
GXO Logistics has appointed Bart Beeks as Chief Operating Officer in a newly created role. The appointment takes effect on January 2, 2026.
Beeks will lead GXO’s global operational excellence agenda. He will focus on standardised execution across the company’s worldwide network and will report directly to CEO Patrick Kelleher.
Kelleher said the appointment strengthens GXO’s operating model and supports continued growth. He highlighted Beeks’ operational expertise and leadership as key drivers for improving productivity, efficiency, and customer value.
Beeks joins GXO from CEVA Logistics. He spent his career there rising from intern to Chief Operating Officer. In that role, he oversaw operations in more than 170 countries.
During his time at CEVA, Beeks improved operating margins and revenue growth. He also led the integration of several acquisitions. Earlier, he served as Executive Vice President for Benelux and Senior Vice President of Operational Excellence.
Before entering the logistics sector, Beeks served as a Commanding Officer in the Dutch Special Forces.
