CNC reopens Middle East import and export bookings
CNC, part of the CMA CGM Group, has reopened import and export bookings across the Middle East with immediate effect.
The reopening applies to shipments to and from Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates.
Multimodal Transport Solutions
To support cargo flows, CNC has introduced several multimodal transport corridors.
For imports, cargo can move through the Jeddahcorridor, using a bonded land bridge and feeder or truck connections to regional destinations. Shipments to the UAE and upper Gulf countries can also move via land bridges from Khor Fakkan, Fujairah, or Soharto Khalifa Port, Jebel Ali Port, or Sharjah before feeder connections across the Gulf.
For exports, CNC will use routes via Sohar, Jeddah, Aqaba, and Mersin, depending on cargo origin within the region.
The reopening applies to dry, frozen, and in-gauge cargo. Carrier haulage options are available subject to space, while merchant haulage solutions are offered from selected ports.
Customers are advised to contact their usual CMA CGM representativesfor further information.
