MSC drops Vizhinjam from ME/ISC–Africa service
MSC has removed the Indian port of Vizhinjam from its Middle East–Indian Subcontinent–Africa service, according to Dynaliners.
The change affects MSC’s India Africa Service (IAS), which connects the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent with ports in South and West Africa. The adjustment reflects further optimisation of the carrier’s network on the trade lane.
According to Dynaliners, the revised port rotation for the IAS service is now as follows: Jebel Ali, Khalifa, Jebel Ali, Sohar, Nhava Sheva, Mundra, Ngqura, Abidjan, Tema, Lome, Cotonou, Kribi, Cape Town, Ngqura, and back to Jebel Ali.
The removal of Vizhinjam follows a series of recent network changes by MSC as it continues to fine-tune service coverage and port calls across key east–west and north–south trade routes.
