AD Ports Group signs AED 840m KEZAD Land deal
AD Ports Group has signed an AED 840 million land sale agreement with Danube Properties. The deal supports a major residential and mixed-use development at KEZAD Town Centre in Abu Dhabi.
The transaction covers around one million square metres of freehold land. It marks the second major land sale within the 16 square kilometre KEZAD Town Centre area. AD Ports Group completed the first deal with Mira Developments in October.
The sale supports the Group’s land monetisation strategy. It also accelerates development at KEZAD Town Centre, which sits close to key industrial and business clusters.
AD Ports Group will collect the proceeds over four years, starting with a 10% down payment. The company plans to use the cash to deleverage its balance sheet and strengthen liquidity.
The agreement reflects rising land values at KEZAD Town Centre. Strong market demand continues to support price appreciation.
“Our agreement with Danube Properties marks another milestone for KEZAD Town Centre,” said Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi, Managing Director and Group CEO of AD Ports Group. He said the transaction highlights growing confidence in the project and its long-term role in Abu Dhabi’s economic growth.
Rizwan Sajan, Founder and Chairman of Danube Group, said the partnership aligns with the company’s focus on quality residential and mixed-use developments. He added that the project’s scale and location support strong future demand.
KEZAD Town Centre is planned as a multi-phase urban district. It will combine residential, commercial, and lifestyle elements. The project aims to create a connected community next to one of Abu Dhabi’s largest industrial hubs.
