Gebrüder Weiss expands operations in Uzbekistan

As of January 1, 2026, Gebrüder Weiss upgraded its Tashkent office into a full national organization, responding to growing demand for reliable logistics in Uzbekistan. The company supports international and local customers, particularly in agricultural and construction machinery transport to Central Asia.

“We continue to invest in Uzbekistan to support our customers’ expansion into Central Asia with reliable logistics processes,” said Thomas Moser, Regional Manager Black Sea/CIS.

Uzbekistan’s economy grew about 7% in 2025, with forecasts of around 6% growth in 2026 and 2027. Rising industry, agriculture, and foreign trade, along with reforms and tax incentives, are driving demand for high-performance logistics.

The country also plays a growing role in Eurasian land transport corridors, connecting Europe and Asia via Gebrüder Weiss locations in Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, and China.

The new national organization will be led by Kamil Ernazarov, in Tashkent since 2019. Gebrüder Weiss currently employs four people, offering land, air, sea, and rail freight services, with warehouse logistics planned for the near future.
