Toll Group launches enhanced iCON Freight Management Platform

Toll Group has launched an upgraded version of its iCON digital platform to support smarter, faster, and more sustainable freight management.

iCON, short for information control, provides forwarding customers with end-to-end visibility across their supply chains. The platform has supported freight management for nearly two decades, helping businesses manage complex logistics processes.

The latest release adds new functionality and improves usability. Customers can now access shipment, container, and purchase order tracking through a modern and highly customisable interface. The booking, delivery, and document workflows are more intuitive. A new system infrastructure also improves speed, responsiveness, and data refresh rates.

The enhanced platform introduces several new tools. A dashboard provides a real-time overview of shipments and exceptions. An emissions tracker monitors carbon output across shipments. Advanced analytics offer insights into spend, volumes, transit times, and other key metrics. A delivery calendar allows customers to view and manage all deliveries in one place.

Toll developed the refreshed iCON platform in-house using modern technologies. The approach allows faster updates as customer needs evolve.

“iCON was created to meet growing demand for smarter and faster freight management,” said Michelle Shirton, Global Head of Digital at Toll Global Forwarding. “The platform streamlines supply chain operations and allows customers to focus on growing their business.”
