Carpenters Shipping appoints Ben Line Agencies as general agent in Singapore

Carpenters Shipping has announced the appointment of Ben Line Agencies as its new general agent in Singapore, effective from 29 January 2026.

As part of the transition, the final voyages to be handled by Wilhelmsen Singapore will be Carpenters Orion voyages 2601N and 2608S, with an estimated time of arrival in Singapore on 28 January 2026.

Carpenters Shipping expressed its appreciation to Wilhelmsen Singapore for its long-standing support and cooperation over the years.

From 29 January 2026, Ben Line Agencies will assume full agency responsibilities in Singapore. The designated points of contact will include Phillip Denham for country management, Sharmaine Abcede for sales and marketing, Charmaine Goh for customer service and sales support, Joanna Wee for import and transshipment documentation, Salmah Rasid for export documentation, Low Kar Jin for equipment control, James Cao for vessel operations, Wendy Oon as accounts manager, and Samantha Liu as accountant.

The appointment marks a new phase in Carpenters Shipping’s agency representation in Singapore as the company continues to strengthen its regional operations.
