Hapag-Lloyd adjusts services due to Middle East conflict

Hapag-Lloyd will temporarily adjust its AGX, IMX and IOS services due to the ongoing conflict in the Middle East. The carrier will introduce a new SE4 service to ensure continued reliability and operational stability.

The company will suspend the AGX and IMX services. The IOS service will no longer call at Jebel Ali.

The new SE4 service will operate with the following rotation: Tianjin Xingang, Qingdao, Busan, Ningbo, Shanghai, Tanjung Pelepas, West Med Hub, East Med Hub, Jeddah, East Med Hub, West Med Hub, Singapore, and back to Tianjin Xingang.

The first vessel on the SE4 service will be Maersk Elba voyage 611W. The vessel has an estimated arrival of March 13, 2026, at Tianjin Xingang.

The IOS service will operate with an updated rotation: Mundra, Nhava Sheva, Salalah, West Med Hub, Rotterdam, Wilhelmshaven, Hamburg, London Gateway, West Med Hub, West Med Hub, Salalah, and back to Mundra.

The final IMX voyage will be Astrid Maersk voyage 609W. The vessel has an estimated departure of March 19, 2026, from Salalah.

The AGX service will be suspended as of Vung Tau Express voyage 607W.

The changes result from the ongoing conflict’s impact on regional operations. The adjustments aim to maintain service reliability amid Middle East security challenges.
