Air Serbia joins Freightos digital booking platform

Air Serbia will join the Freightos cargo booking platform, expanding digital access for freight forwarders across Europe and the United States.

The integration will make Air Serbia’s cargo capacity available for e-booking across its full network, covering destinations from Albania and Austria to Sweden and Switzerland. Forwarders will also gain access to regional markets such as Zagreb, Tirana, Sarajevo and Skopje.

The move also strengthens adoption of Freightos Pay, enabling fast and guaranteed digital payments between forwarders and carriers. The solution allows forwarders without accreditation to book shipments, addressing a key barrier in the European market.

Freightos said the platform combines booking and payment in one process. This helps airlines improve cash flow, reduce disputes and expand their customer base.

Air Serbia said the partnership supports its digital transformation strategy. The airline expects the system to simplify operations, reduce administrative work and improve service for cargo customers.

The rollout will broaden access to Air Serbia’s network and support more efficient air cargo transactions across key trade lanes.
