NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Transport Topics presented its second annual Sustainability Pathfinder awards to IMC Logistics and Werner Enterprises for their exemplary efforts to improve freight efficiency and curb emissions.

The awards, sponsored by Great Dane, recognize motor carriers that are prioritizing environmental stewardship and leading the way toward a more sustainable future.

TT announced this year’s winners March 12 at American Trucking Associations’ Technology & Maintenance Council’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition.

IMC Logistics, a provider of drayage, intermodal and logistics services based in Memphis, Tenn., has adopted a blended approach to sustainability that reduces its carbon footprint while also maintaining a reliable supply chain.

As part of its strategy, the company has become an early adopter of emerging powertrain technologies. IMC is an industry leader in the deployment of hydrogen fuel cell trucks, with 50 of those zero-emission vehicles now operating in its California fleet along with six battery-electric tractors. The remaining 200 trucks in IMC’s California fleet run on renewable diesel.

IMC also has invested in charging infrastructure and electric-powered yard equipment and forklifts as well as interior and exterior LED lighting at its facilities to reduce energy consumption.

IMC Logistics ranks No. 33 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest for-hire carriers in North America.
