Containership, bulk carrier collide on Vietnam's Long Tau River

A container vessel and a bulk carrier collided on the Long Tau River in Vietnam on Friday, April 25, the Vietnam Maritime and Waterway Administration (VMWA) confirms.

The incident involving the 2,800TEU KMTC Surabaya and the Handysize bulk carrier Glengyle occurred at around 23:00 local time on Friday while the former was headed for Hong Kong and the latter was en route to Ho Chi Minh City.
