ACIA Aero Leasing Launches Initial ATR72-600 Delivery to Emerald Airlines

ACIA Aero Leasing, a prominent player in the regional aircraft leasing sector, has just announced the lease of its first ATR72-600 passenger aircraft to Emerald Airlines. This plane features a 72-seat configuration and marks the beginning of a two-aircraft deal.

With these new additions, Emerald Airlines will expand its fleet to 20 ATR72-600s.

Mick Mooney, CEO of ACIA, expressed enthusiasm about this partnership: “We’re excited to enhance our customer base and welcome Emerald Airlines aboard. Their steady growth over recent years makes them an excellent addition to our portfolio.”

Emerald Airlines’ Chief Operations Officer Richard Spencer shared his thoughts on this development: “The arrival of our first leased aircraft will bolster our Dublin-based operations substantially. As we broaden our service routes, we anticipate a fruitful collaboration with ACIA Aero Leasing.”

A recent report from the UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) highlighted that Emerald Airlines achieved the title of most punctual airline in the UK for 2024.
