Air Europa Takes Flight at IGA Istanbul Airport

Air europa, a prominent airline from Spain, has kicked off its flights to iGA Istanbul Airport. Utilizing its fleet of boeing 787 Dreamliners, Air Europa is now the fourth airline to launch services at this bustling airport in 2025.

iGA Istanbul Airport serves as a vital global transfer hub for travelers heading to Türkiye. With the addition of air Europa, which will run four weekly flights between Madrid and Istanbul starting from May 12, this connection is set to enhance travel options significantly. By July 7, these flights will ramp up to daily service.

This Spanish airline boasts routes to over 55 destinations worldwide and plays a crucial role in linking Europe with the Americas through Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. The new flights are scheduled for departure from Madrid at 9:30 AM and return from istanbul at 4:00 PM, making it easier for passengers to catch overnight connections across the Atlantic.

iGA istanbul Airport’s CEO Selahattin Bilgen expressed enthusiasm about this new partnership:
