The Final Chapter

After years of observing the airfreight industry, Airfreight Bill has finally decided to dive into entrepreneurship.

I’m thrilled to introduce Airway Bill Cargo GSSA & GSA (ABCG&G), a new venture aimed at representing top-tier airlines in some of the most vibrant and lucrative markets out there.

I’m teaming up with my buddy Manny Fest, who’s a whiz at handling logistics. He’s not one to shy away from joining organizations that can help us network and grow within the GSSA and GSA sectors, despite groucho Marx’s quip about clubs.

Manny is keen on signing us up for TIACA – The International Air Cargo Association. He believes it’s essential for connecting with global air cargo players, including GSAs/GSSAs. It offers fantastic opportunities for advocacy and insights into trends like sustainability and digital conversion.

He’s also excited about IATA – International Air Transport Association (Cargo Division). While IATA primarily focuses on airlines, they have programs like Cargo iQ and CASS that allow GSAs to engage meaningfully.

I’ve got my eye on WCAworld (WCA Logistics Network) as well; it claims to be the largest logistics network globally, linking freight forwarders with airlines. This could open doors for partnerships in cargo space sales. Additionally, there’s Neutral Air Partner (NAP), which caters specifically to air cargo professionals—perfect for connecting with innovative forwarders.

Manny suggests we consider joining the Airforwarders Association (AfA) when we expand our footprint in America since it represents key players in U.S. air cargo—including GSAs.

If we’re thinking globally, we might explore trade associations worldwide too. As an example, ACFA (Air Cargo Forum India) could be beneficial if we target operations in south Asia. And back home again? CNS (Cargo Network Services)—IATA’s U.S.-based division—could provide valuable access to American markets.

The Role of Innovation

Younger folks today will tell you that everything is digital—and they’re right! ABCG&G needs to embrace tech-driven platforms if we’re going to keep pace with modern demands. Manny insists we check out Cargo.one Partner Network; it’s a digital sales channel where GSSAs can showcase their capacity online—a game changer!

an additional platform worth exploring is WebCargo by Freightos; it promises real-time rate distribution and dynamic pricing capabilities—definitely something worth considering!

The Importance of Personal Connections

My friends frequently enough joke that I prefer face-to-face meetings over any tech solution when sealing deals—and honestly? They’re not wrong! There’s nothing quite like meeting potential clients over coffee or dinner—it builds rapport better than emails ever could! span > p >

That’s why Manny and I plan on attending various industry events such as Air Cargo europe in Munich or TIACA’s forums—to put ABCG&G on the map! We’ll also subscribe digitally to publications like Air Cargo Week as staying informed is crucial. p >

These events will boost our visibility while helping us connect directly with airlines seeking local expertise—Manny swears by this strategy! Who am I kidding? He might just be onto something here! span > p >
