SEKO Enhances WebCargo with Freightos Partnership for Streamlined Global Air and Truck Pricing
According to Freightos, SEKO Logistics, a prominent player in global logistics with a presence in over 60 nations, has taken notable strides by enhancing its collaboration with Freightos. This expansion involves the adoption of Freightos’ 7LFreight and WebCargo solutions to streamline air and ground rate management and booking throughout its international operations. This move signifies a pivotal moment in SEKO’s digital evolution, transitioning from regional achievements in the U.S. to implementing a unified quoting and booking process globally.
“As our operations become increasingly intricate and customer demands rise, having centralized real-time insights into both air and ground logistics is essential,” remarked Justin Horwitz, who oversees domestic product strategy at SEKO. “Integrating Freightos’ tools into our pricing workflows allows us to access carrier rates more efficiently while standardizing charge logic across different regions. This results in quicker, more precise quotes that enhance our ability to satisfy customer expectations in today’s competitive landscape.”
The enhanced integration brings substantial operational benefits for both SEKO’s teams and their clients. Users can now tap into live airfreight pricing from over 70 airlines alongside LTL (less-than-truckload) rates from SEKO’s contracted carriers as well as an extensive network of over 150 LTL providers and around 3,000 cartage services. With confirmed bookings seamlessly flowing into SEKO’s internal systems, this integration boosts the speed and accuracy of multimodal shipments while improving overall visibility.
“We’ve consistently witnessed how automation enhances our domestic air freight services,” stated Laurent Deneubourg, vice president of global airfreight at SEKO. “By extending this automation on a global scale, we create a more integrated booking experience supported by extraordinary customer service that feels like true collaboration.”
This integration meets the growing demand for rapid, obvious multimodal solutions within an increasingly cost-sensitive logistics sector. The new system has considerably accelerated internal quoting processes while minimizing operational redundancies and inconsistencies.
