
Amnesty International called on nations to prevent a German-owned cargo ship loaded with military components destined for Israel from docking at their ports.
It added that if a government allows the ship to berth at its facility, it will also be a contributor to genocide and other serious crimes under international law, per reports.
Holger G is a Portuguese-flagged ship and is loaded with 440 tonnes of mortar bomb parts, military-grade steel and projectiles.
Per Amnesty International, the cargo is for Israeli defence companies like Elbit Systems and others, which provide massive quantities of weapons to the Israeli Military.
Amnesty added that it had verified that the vessel is transporting metal alloys used in artillery shells and also items that could be used in rockets and missiles.
The ship left India on November 16, 2025 and is sailing towards the Israeli Port of Haifa, where the cargo is to be unloaded.
