Iveda (IVDA) Initiates its Smart City Rollout in the Philippines

On May 22, Iveda Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:IVDA) announced it has initiated its smart city rollout in Manila, Philippines, which is the 8th most populated city worldwide.

The initial contract is valued at $180,000 and marks the first phase of the company's greater $3 million smart city initiative for the region.

Iveda Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:IVDA) is a technology company specializing in cloud-based artificial intelligence video search and surveillance solutions. These solutions enable instant deployment of artificial intelligence to existing infrastructures enabling smart cities and organizations around the world.

The project entails the deployment of the company’s IvedaAI, an AI-powered platform that enhances the city's existing extensive CCTV infrastructure by adding real-time analytics. This is critical as it enables faster and more accurate detection of critical incidents, without the need to replace the existing hardware.

Iveda Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:IVDA) has been focused on the Philippines for six years and management has set a new target of $3 million in revenue from smart city projects in the Philippines by the end of fiscal 2026. David Ly, CEO and Founder of Iveda Solutions, Inc. (NASDAQ:IVDA) noted:
