Maersk Ground Freight opens new integrated hub and station in Dallas

Maersk Ground Freight has opened a new state-of-the-art integrated facility in Coppell, Texas, just five miles from Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport, marking a major step in strengthening its North American logistics network.
Spanning over 100,000 square feet, the combined station and linehaul hub will handle thousands of shipments weekly, serving both the Dallas-Fort Worth metro area and Maersk’s broader national operations. The terminal is already active and will be fully operational ahead of the 2025 holiday peak season, enabling faster and more reliable freight movement.
“This facility is a true force multiplier for our capacity and capabilities,” said Gabe Alizieri, Head of Maersk Ground Freight. “It allows us to consolidate operations, gain efficiencies, and provide our customers with improved service while supporting our team with a modern workspace.”
The Coppell hub replaces the previous Irving station and expands Maersk’s footprint in Texas, complementing existing sites in Austin, Houston, El Paso, Laredo, and McAllen. The facility integrates pickup, delivery, and linehaul operations to enhance connectivity for both B2B and B2C shipments.
With 65+ facilities across North America, Maersk Ground Freight continues to expand its integrated end-to-end logistics model—combining technology, transport assets, and customer-focused service to deliver time-definite, nationwide solutions.
