Subway makes regional president appointments
Subway has announced a series of regional leadership appointments, including Damien Harmon as president of its North America division, the company said this week.
Subway, with headquarters in Miami and Shelton, Conn., said Harmon is “a culture builder and recognized expert in guest experience.”
Most recently, Harmon served as senior executive vice president of customer, channel experiences, and enterprise services at Best Buy.
“In that role, he led store and services teams, championed initiatives that drove employee engagement, increased and strengthened long-term customer relationships, and delivered consistent, industry-leading results for the company,” Subway said.
Previously, Harmon held executive roles at Bridgestone Americas Inc.
Subway named Tracy Gehlan as president of its Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) division.
Gehlan previously served as senior vice president EMEA and chief operating officer international at Hertz Global Holdings. She also
held senior roles at quick-service brands including Smashburger and Burger King. She also sits on the board of Americana Restaurants International PLC, the largest out-of-home dining and quick-service operator in the Middle East.
Subway named Artemio Garza as president of its Latin America and Caribbean (LAC) division.
