Feeder Shipping as a prominent trend in Middle East

Feeder shipping once a peripheral activity is fast becoming a cornerstone of regional logistics, with local players rising in influence, governments pouring in investments, and new corridors reshaping traditional trade routes.
At the heart of this evolution is the Middle East’s growing appetite for integration, efficiency, and autonomy in its maritime supply chains.
According to a June 2024 report by consultancy Arthur D. Little, the Middle East, East Africa, Turkey, and South Asia feeder market is now valued at $8 billion, with expected growth rates of 5% per annum until 2030.
