WEC Lines launches service connecting Ireland, France, and Belgium

WEC Lines has launched a new direct weekly container service linking Zeebrugge (Belgium), Dublin (Ireland), and Le Havre (France), further strengthening its European network and commitment to the Irish market.

Operated by a 612-TEU vessel on a fixed 7-day rotation, the service departs Zeebrugge every Thursday and arrives in Dublin on Sunday. It offers enhanced flexibility and faster end-mile delivery, serving both dry and reefer markets.

This launch marks WEC Lines’ third weekly call to Dublin, alongside its existing routes from Spain and Portugal. The company has operated in Ireland for over 30 years and recently introduced a dedicated Bilbao–Dublin service to expand inland connections across Spain and the Canary Islands.

The new “NWC–IE” service also includes calls at Le Havre and Montoir, offering a sustainable alternative to road transport and avoiding congestion at major ports like Antwerp and Rotterdam.
