SITC completed the Qingdao Symposium Briefing for 2025

The SITC International Independent Financial Managers Symposium was successfully held on July 26-27, 2025, at the Qingdao Hisense International Center.

Attendees included key financial leaders from the company headquarters, independent financial managers, and overseas expatriates responsible for accounting at independent operating companies.

The meeting featured Chairman Yang Xianxiang, Vice Chairman Yang Xin, CEO Xue Mingyuan, General Managers of Group Headquarter Centres, and Presidents of Business Groups, who all delivered speeches.

The meeting focused on summarizing the financial achievements of the past year, providing explanations of company policies, and discussing work arrangements related to key tasks such as accounting, fund management, SAP system upgrades, business and financial process analysis, and a new interest calculation scheme for group fund occupation.



The financial work objectives for the next steps were clarified, and overseas financial staff presented job analyses and summaries.

The managers of the Operation Management Center addressed financial issues identified during audits, including risk management, ESG requirements, and related party transactions.

The meeting also included training sessions on AI knowledge and applications, the development of electronic files, and a review of tax hot topics.

CEO Xue urged the finance department to prepare for AI applications, enhance data quality, engage with business departments more deeply, adjust assessment criteria, and focus on improving customer experience.

Vice Chairman Yang Xin emphasized that finance is the heart of the enterprise, providing vital support to other departments. The financial department should leverage AI technology to improve efficiency.

Chairman Yang concluded by highlighting that 2025 marks a year of significant financial achievements.

The company has completed innovative tasks such as the launch of the SAP system, consolidation of financial statements, combining shipowner accounts, and visualizing fund statements.

This year also marks the first year of AI implementation for SITC. He stressed that changes in the financial system should better serve business development, with financial personnel actively identifying problems and proposing system improvements.

Regarding the development of electronic archives, he called for sufficient demonstration and analysis and for close collaboration with business departments to promote progress.
