Gemini adds Kwangyang call to SE3/AE15 service

The Gemini Cooperation, a joint venture between Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk, is updating its East Mediterranean–Far East SE3/AE15 service. Kwangyang in South Korea will now be a regular port of call.
The route will sail Qingdao, Kwangyang, Ningbo, Tanjung Pelepas, Port Said, Izmit, Istanbul (Ambarli), Port Said, Singapore, and back to Qingdao. Adding Kwangyang improves trade connections and gives shippers more options.
The change aims to optimize cargo flows and meet growing demand along the Far East–Mediterranean corridor. It also supports regional exporters and importers with reliable schedules and faster transit times.
This update shows how Hapag-Lloyd and Maersk are expanding their network. It also reflects their commitment to efficient supply chains and stronger service across key maritime routes.
