OptiBook set to launch at Patrick Terminals Brisbane

Patrick Terminals and OneStop will roll out the new OptiBook container management system at Patrick Terminals – Brisbane AutoStrad on Saturday, 8 November 2025.

The system integrates with the OneStop Vehicle Booking System to enhance operational efficiency and provide greater transparency across the landside supply chain.

OptiBook gives customers real-time visibility of container status, faster access to available containers, and a smoother slot booking process. It supports efficient truck scheduling for containers deemed “ready,” reducing congestion and improving flow through the terminal.

To prepare for the transition, OneStop and Patrick Terminals held a familiarisation workshop on 8 October. Additional online training sessions will be offered on 30 October and 5 November to help carriers navigate the new platform.

Launching on a Saturday aims to minimise disruption during the busy pre-Christmas period.

“OneStop is proud to introduce OptiBook at Patrick Terminals Brisbane,” said Sam Askin, CEO of OneStop. “The platform marks another step toward a more connected and efficient supply chain.”

Matt Hollamby, Terminal Manager at Patrick Terminals Brisbane AutoStrad, added: “OptiBook enhances landside efficiency with real-time visibility and smarter booking options. It reflects our ongoing focus on operational excellence and industry collaboration.”

The new system, developed in close consultation with industry operators, represents a major step forward in landside container management.
