Hapag-Lloyd to cease Caribbean Express Service

Hapag-Lloyd will discontinue its Caribbean Express Service (CES) at the beginning of 2026. The service currently deploys seven vessels of around 2,700 TEU, connecting North Europe, Canada, the U.S. East Coast, and Central America.

The CES rotation is: Antwerp, Felixstowe, Hamburg, Antwerp, Saint John (Canada), Philadelphia, Port Everglades, Santa Marta, Moin, Cartagena, and back to Antwerp.

The carrier is expected to announce adjustments to its network in due course to compensate for the service withdrawal.
