CMA CGM HELIUM officially named and enters service

CMA CGM has officially named its new dual-fuel methanol vessel, CMA CGM HELIUM, under the command of Captain Lucian Paraschiv. Cristina Saenz de Santa Maria, COO Maritime at DNV, served as Godmother during the ceremony.

The vessel is now deployed on the Phoenician Express (BEX2) service, linking China, Korea, Singapore, Egypt, Lebanon, Slovenia, Italy, Croatia, Saudi Arabia, and Malaysia, strengthening trade flows between Asia, the Middle East, and the Mediterranean.

CMA CGM HELIUM marks a new step in connecting regions and supporting global trade, with environmentally friendly dual-fuel technology and enhanced operational flexibility.
