Inchcape Shipping Services opens new office in Manzanillo

Inchcape Shipping Services (ISS) has opened a new office in Manzanillo, Colima, Mexico’s busiest container port and a key gateway for Pacific trade. The expansion strengthens Inchcape’s operational footprint along the Pacific coast, improving service coverage for tanker, dry bulk, liner, cruise, government, and ship management clients.

“Manzanillo is one of the most dynamic and strategic ports in the Americas,” said John Willemsen, Vice President, LATAM at ISS. “Our new office enables us to deliver fast, compliant, and efficient support while maintaining the high global standards our clients rely on.”

The office provides a full suite of marine and port agency services, including crew logistics, vessel husbandry, customs clearance, bunkering, survey and inspection, port captaincy, and more. Services are available 24/7 and delivered by experienced local professionals.

The Port of Manzanillo operates 20 active berths across 437 hectares, serving the world’s top 10 shipping lines and major terminal operators. Investments are expanding container, bulk, LNG, and cruise infrastructure, supporting over 12,000 vessel calls annually.

ISS’s new presence further strengthens the port’s maritime ecosystem, ensuring clients benefit from transparent, reliable, and efficient service across Mexico’s Pacific corridor.
