ONE updates surcharge structure for cargo misdeclaration

Ocean Network Express (ONE) has reminded customers of the critical importance of providing accurate cargo declarations to ensure smooth handling, regulatory compliance and safe operations throughout its network. The carrier stressed that discrepancies between declared and actual cargo may lead to additional charges under its Compensation for Breach of Agreement (CBA) process.

ONE noted that the updated surcharge levels apply across all trade lanes and services and will remain in effect until further notice. The carrier urged shippers to review cargo details carefully at the booking stage to avoid delays, misalignment issues and potential penalties.
