Everllence secures 138 orders for new GenSet Engine

Everllence reports strong early demand for its new 35/44DF CD GenSet.

The company confirmed 138 orders since the engine passed its Type Approval Test in April 2025. The test took place at STX headquarters in Changwon. Several major shipping companies have already placed orders. Everllence will deliver the first unit in May 2026.

Sephardim Koblenz, Vice President and Head of Licensing for Four-Stroke Marine at Everllence, said the engine’s success reflects the company’s focus on innovation and sustainability. He said the team worked closely with STX Engine to balance performance with environmental goals. He added that the design delivers both competitiveness and lower emissions.

The 35/44DF CD engine features low emissions and a future-ready design. Everllence built the engine to support future fuels. These include biofuels, LNG, synthetic LNG, and methanol. The design also supports long-term decarbonisation strategies.

Manuel Zaharias, Promotion Manager for Four-Stroke License-Built Engines at Everllence, said customer feedback shaped the design. He said Everllence tested market requirements directly with STX Engine. He added that the result is a reliable power solution for modern vessels with clear sustainability benefits.

Everllence expects demand to continue as shipowners seek lower-emission and fuel-flexible solutions.
