ClassNK grants AiP for CSSC Huangpu Wenchong 13,000 m³ LPG Carrier

ClassNK has issued an Approval in Principle (AiP) for a 13,000 m³ LPG carrier developed by CSSC Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. The certificate handover took place at Marintec China 2025.

ClassNK reviewed key drawings covering hull structure, stability, machinery, electrical systems, and the cargo handling system. The design met relevant international standards and guidelines, meeting the technical criteria required for the AiP.

ClassNK will continue supporting new technology development and its safe implementation in the maritime industry.
