Update-M/V One Henry Hudson fire incident at Port of Los Angeles

The M/V One Henry Hudson has been moved to Yusen Terminal (YTI), Berth 212, at the Port of Los Angeles following a fire onboard.

The fire has been fully extinguished. ONE Shipping continues to monitor the vessel to ensure no further issues arise.

Large volumes of water were used to fight the fire. The vessel must dispose of this water before inspections can proceed. Vessel owners and the appointed salvage company are making arrangements for the disposal. Operations are expected to begin in at least one week.

The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is supervising the vessel. Cargo operations will resume only with USCG approval.

ONE Shipping is fully cooperating with stakeholders and will provide further updates to customers as the situation develops.
