SANY opens first global remanufacturing base in Hainan
SANY Group has started operations at its first global engineering machinery remanufacturing base. The facility opened on December 23 in Dongfang City, Hainan Province.
The project is called the SANY Hunan–Hainan Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park. It marks a major step in SANY’s global expansion and sustainability strategy. On its opening day, SANY secured orders worth CNY 100 million from Southeast Asia and Africa.
The park is China’s first industrial zone jointly developed by a pilot free trade zone and a pilot free trade port. It strengthens industrial cooperation between Hunan and Hainan. The project uses the manufacturing strength of Hunan and the policy advantages of Hainan to support Chinese companies expanding overseas.
Construction began in August 2023. The park covers about 150 mu, or 10 hectares. Total investment reached CNY 600 million. At full capacity, it is expected to generate annual output of around CNY 750 million.

SANY designed the park as a regional hub for remanufacturing and resource distribution. It serves both domestic and international markets. The facility focuses on repairing and remanufacturing core machinery components and used equipment. This approach supports the circular use of industrial resources.
The park benefits from Hainan Free Trade Zone policies. Eligible activities enjoy tariff preferences and bonded supervision. The project also qualifies for corporate and personal income tax incentives, including the “Dual 15%” policy.
SANY said the project supports its goals in globalization, digitalization, and low-carbon development. The group plans to expand remanufacturing models and promote greener practices across the global engineering machinery industry.
