COSCO Shipping Lines realigns Japan–Vietnam–China JVC service

COSCO Shipping Lines has announced a realignment of its Japan–China–Vietnam (JVC) service, operated with three vessels of around 1,400 TEU.

As part of the revision, the carrier will replace Moji with Kobe on the Japan leg and add Yangpu to the rotation. At the same time, northbound calls at Shenzhen (Yantian) and Hong Kong will be removed. Following the adjustment, Guangzhou (Nansha) will become the only Pearl River Delta port served on the service.

Revised JVC service rotation

Under the new configuration, the JVC service will operate on the following rotation:

Tokyo – Yokohama – Nagoya – Kobe – Guangzhou (Nansha) – Hong Kong – Yangpu – Hai Phong – Xiamen – Tokyo

The changes are aimed at streamlining port coverage and improving network efficiency across COSCO Shipping Lines’ intra-Asia trades linking Japan, China and Vietnam.
