ASL and CU Lines launch new China–Southeast Asia services

Asean Seas Line (ASL) and CU Lines have expanded their intra-Asia network with the launch of two new container services linking China with Southeast Asia and the Philippines.

The partners have introduced a China–Thailand service, branded NSX / BTX2, operated with two vessels of around 1,800 TEU, connecting China’s Pearl River Delta with key Thai ports. In addition, ASL and CU Lines have jointly launched a China–Philippines service, coded NP2 / NPX2, also deployed with two vessels of approximately 1,800 TEU.

New service rotations

The newly launched services operate on the following rotations:

  • NSX / BTX2 (China–Thailand):
Guangzhou (Nansha) – Shenzhen (Shekou) – Laem Chabang – Bangkok – Laem Chabang – Guangzhou

  • NP2 / NPX2 (China–Philippines):
    Qingdao – Shanghai – Xiamen – Manila – Qingdao

The additions strengthen connectivity between North and South China, Thailand and the Philippines, reflecting continued growth in intra-Asian trade and demand for direct regional shipping links.
