RIKON wins first major contract in Africa

RIKON has secured its first contract on the African continent. The company won an international tender to transport a Double Jib Level Luffing crane, one of its core products.

The project covers the transport of a fully assembled crane from the port of Nador to the port of Safi in Morocco. Marsa Maroc, the country’s leading port operator, awarded the contract.

The operation is highly complex. It requires specialist transport expertise, careful planning, and precise execution. RIKON’s experience in large-scale crane transport proved decisive.

Recent successful shipments of similar cranes to Turkey supported the bid. RIKON also showcased its capabilities at TOC Africa 2025 in Tangier, where it engaged directly with Marsa Maroc and regional stakeholders.

This contract marks RIKON’s entry into the African market. It confirms the company’s strategy and opens a new chapter for its operations on the continent.
